I Had the pleasure of working with Peter for the beautiful outdoor Sanctuary Cove wedding of Garreth and Odette.
He was not only professional but charming and funny and made the ceremony a joy to be a part of! His style quite evident by the ever fabulous Wood & Beau tie he was wearing.
You can check out his work here and he’s like me loves to work with people getting married everywhere!
Since photography is something I know a bit about I can confidently say that after meeting Kiefa from Insta Kombi yesterday, after following them and seeing all the fabulous images they share on social media they are without a doubt on my highly recommended short list.
If you would like any more information on what they do you can browse their website here their instagram feed is also worth following not only for their images but other top wedding and party vendors they work with. What they offer is hours of fun and happiness for you and your guests with images available immediately, which perfectly compliments my story telling of your day in images and a few sneaky short video’s! After the day is over the photos will be a trip back in time every time you and your guests look at them!
Earlier this week I had the pleasure of meeting Stacie Young of Cookie Doe Weddings, such a cute name for her business! Stacie is a wedding consultant with a new venue at Greenmount Beach Club and as the name suggests it is right on the beach. She has also added a Byron Bay Hinterland venue to her portfolio of properties to hire.
The Beach space is great as is the area which is very family orientated and you are really spoilt for choice for wedding photo locations within a 15 minute walking radius. Stacie has a great working relationship with local people and vendors alike which is a valuable asset to anyone wanting to customise their wedding with trusted vendors in the area. You can really make this space anything you want it to be for your big day, small or larger weddings can be catered for. The one thing I immediately noticed about Stacie is that she is passionate about weddings and helping people realise their hopes and dreams for their day.
While I wasn’t there to photograph the venue I took a few images of some photo spots which were literally a 5 minute walk from the venue, you can just imagine how lovely these would be for bridal portraits and or bridal party photos.
Then around the corner depending on the tides of course you can get some stunning reflection shots. Just imagine mirror images of the bridal party on the wet sand or the bride and groom standing on the timber deck to the side of the frame with the veil in the breeze!
I can honestly say that this is most definitely the best stretch of coastline for sunsets on the gold coast as you get uninterrupted views of the hinterland. This venue will definitely become a local go to for wedding receptions with nothing else quite like it in the area and the passion that Stacie has I can’t wait to see it succeed!
